These policies are to ensure the well-being of everyone coming through the door and the smooth operation of my fabulous little utopia of creativity! Please take a read.

covid-19

This is a fully COVID-19 vaccinated shop. We believe in science and keeping our community safe. If that doesn’t jive, this probably isn’t the shop for you. I have a highlight on my Instagram titled “before you book” if you want to check that out before confirming.

Please wear a disposable mask to your appointment because we’re in such close contact.

Health is more important than nails

If you currently have any symptoms of COVID-19,  if you have symptoms of any other sickness whatsoever, or if you have been in close contact with someone who is sick, (someone in your household, someone at work):

You MUST reschedule your appointment – no exceptions.  I have clients and family who are immunocompromised and won’t risk infecting them. If you come in for your appointment and have any symptoms of illness, you will be turned away. If I am sick, I will let you know ASAP so we can reschedule. Please give it at least 5 days after travelling by plane before you come see me.  If you are having allergy symptoms, please take an antihistamine before you come.

Other salons’ work:

I don’t fill or remove other nail salons’ work for many reasons. Please make sure to come to your appointment with bare nails, unless we have discussed arrangements beforehand.

Children & extra guests:

No kids in the shop. I don’t do kids’ nail services and it’s not a safe place for them. No extra guests at your appointment, there is no waiting area.

No-shows, cancellations and late arrivals:

48 hours notice of any cancellation of your scheduled appointment, please. Any less than 48 hours’ notice will require a late cancellation fee of $20. Same-day cancellations or no-show, no call appointments will be required to pay the full amount of their service before re-scheduling and may forfeit future opportunity to book. Anyone late to their appointment may have to have abbreviated services to keep other clients on schedule. If you are 15 minutes late or more, you may be asked to reschedule & pay a late cancellation.

Respect

Everyone in this space will treat each other with respect and courtesy. This includes respect for both Provincial Health Orders and my personal choices that I make for my business to keep everyone safe. This is an inclusive 2SLGBTQIA+ safe studio.
